PuppyGenes Service Providers

These are the service providers that handle information for PuppyGenes. Each receives only what it needs for its job. We update this page when a provider changes, and we will give notice or ask for consent where the law requires it.

Amazon.ca	Sells the kit, takes payment, delivers it and handles Amazon returns. Amazon controls the information in your Amazon order under its own privacy notice; we receive the order information Amazon shares with sellers.	Canada, the United States and other locations Amazon describes
U.S. laboratory partner	Receives your dog's saliva sample labelled with its kit barcode, analyzes it for DNA and oral bacteria, and returns the result files. Google Workspace (Google Drive)	Used by our laboratory partner to send us result files, which are identified by kit barcode, not by your name.	Canada, the United States and other Google locations
Supabase	Our database, account sign-in and file storage, including your account, dog profile, results, report and Genie conversations.	Canada (Central), with limited support and backup access elsewhere
Google sign-in	Only if you choose to sign in with Google: confirms your identity and shares your name and email address with us.	The United States and other Google locations
Vercel	Hosts the website and dashboard, and provides security logs, error diagnostics, and cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights.	Canada, the United States and other Vercel locations
Resend	Sends service emails, such as account and results notifications, using your email address and the message content.	The United States
OpenRouter	Only if you use Genie: routes your question, recent chat messages, your dog's profile details and notes, and your published report to the AI model. We route only to endpoints listed as zero data retention and not training on prompts.	The United States
Anthropic (Claude)	Only if you use Genie: writes Genie's answer from the information routed by OpenRouter. It may cache your dog's report context for about five minutes to answer follow-up questions.	The United States
